ORCID Requirement
ORCID Requirement
The SCID Journal of Artificial Intelligence (SJAI) is committed to improving transparency, credit attribution, and author identification in scholarly publishing. As part of this commitment, all submitting authors are required to provide their ORCID iD during the submission process.
What is ORCID?
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) provides a unique digital identifier that distinguishes individual researchers and connects them with their research contributions across disciplines, borders, and time. Learn more at https://orcid.org
ORCID Requirements for SJAI
Corresponding author must have an ORCID iD linked during submission. All co-authors are encouraged to include their ORCID iDs as well. The ORCID iD will be displayed alongside the author’s name upon publication.
How to Get an ORCID iD?
Registering for an ORCID iD is free and takes less than a minute: https://orcid.org/register
Integration in Submission System
SJAI uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which allows seamless ORCID integration. During submission, authors will be prompted to add their ORCID ID manually or connect their ORCID account via authentication. This ensures proper attribution, metadata enrichment, and compatibility with indexing platforms such as Crossref and DOAJ.
